What We Are Looking For: Curro Foundation Phase Teachers
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and experiences:
- A relevant academic and professional education degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Experience in teaching at the Foundation Phase.
- Current registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- Familiarity with the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS).
- A clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities: Curro Foundation Phase Teachers
- Design, plan, and evaluate assessments; maintain accurate records and reports.
- Participate actively in grade-level meetings, workshops, and professional development forums.
- Foster a positive and educational atmosphere in the classroom.
- Take responsibility for school equipment and stock in your class.
- Collaborate closely with other teachers to enhance the efficiency of the grade/phase.
- Manage and support both academic and extracurricular activities including sports and cultural events.
- Uphold and promote discipline within the classroom and school environment.
- Engage in additional administrative or sports duties as needed.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to education and contribute positively to the school’s values and ethos.
Work Location: Positions are available in both Preschool and Primary School settings.
Start Date: The selected candidate will commence their role on June 3, 2024.
