We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure all operational targets for the deposition of tailings are met according to contractual obligations, on time, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team leaders/supervisors to meet operational targets.
- Conduct daily inspections within your designated area of responsibility.
- Manage the planning and deployment of tailings material onsite and at depositing areas.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational challenges and report deviations to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain strict adherence to disciplinary procedures in line with the company’s policies.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations according to safety legislation and company protocols.
- Manage the extension and connection of pipelines and the operation of valves in line with operational procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in tailings dam operations or a related field within the mining industry is preferred.
Skills, Qualities, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and keen observational skills.
- Innovative and action-oriented mindset.
General Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Medical fitness suitable for a mining environment.
- Successful clearance of the mine’s criminal screening process.
