Life Roseacres Hospital is seeking a proficient Stock Controller for the Surgical Ward, reporting to Jacqui Kgope, the Unit Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee administrative tasks for the Manager, manage unit stock, and ensure efficient control processes.
Critical Outputs: Life Roseacres Hospital Stock Controller
- Demonstrated flexibility in judgment to handle multiple, competing work demands.
- Maintain schedules, calendars, plan meetings, and coordinate external visitors.
- Possess sound knowledge of surgical and ethical stock management.
- Ensure timely completion of theatre billing.
- Manage, control, and bill consignment stock in collaboration with relevant Representatives.
- Execute secretarial duties as per job description.
- Exhibit good telephone etiquette.
- Provide administrative support including supply ordering and patient billing.
- Ability to work accurately with high-value products.
- Proficient communication and interaction with all levels of personnel.
Requirements: Life Roseacres Hospital Stock Controller
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative/stock controller role (Hospital theatre experience preferred).
- Grade 12/Matric qualification.
- Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.).
- Knowledge of hospital systems (e.g., iMeds, Impilo, SAP) advantageous.
- Customer service experience.
