Programme Overview:
Transnet CA Trainee Programme 2024 is a three-year programme designed for candidates who have completed an accredited post-graduate qualification or equivalent. Trainees will undergo extensive training in Financial Management, Management Decision Making, Financial Accounting, Internal Audit & Corporate Governance, Auditing & Assurance, and Taxation, in line with SAICA requirements.

Trainees will be trained and assessed according to the SAICA CA 2025 framework, emphasizing integrated thinking, digital acumen, and the integration of technical and professional competencies.

Rotations: Transnet CA Trainee Programme 2024
Trainees will rotate through different functions within Transnet’s head office and various operating divisions, such as Transnet Freight Rail, Transnet Properties, and Transnet Engineering. Rotation plans will be tailored to meet the needs of the trainees and the respective operating divisions, in alignment with Transnet’s SAICA Training Programme requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum entry requirement: Accredited post-graduate qualification in Accounting Science or Financial Accounting programme. Final year CTA students may also apply. Skills and Competencies:
