Join our team at ERWAT and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety in our plant environment and offices. As a Cleaner, your daily tasks will include ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and preparing identified areas for optimal use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep units and surrounding areas clean and free from debris, algae, slime, and litter to maintain safe and continuous operation within established standards.
- Coordinate leave and time off with the team leader and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere strictly to safety rules, procedures, signs, and instructions to prevent health and safety incidents.
- Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).
Key Knowledge and Skills: ERWAT General Workers Post 2024
- Basic understanding of relevant in-house management systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 8-12 education.
- No prior operational experience required.
