Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Stock Ordering: Order ethical, consumable, and surgical stock in accordance with Netcare Stock Policies.
- Quantity Management: Ensure correct quantities of stock are ordered.
- Supplier Coordination: Order stock from the correct suppliers in the preferred order.
- Timely Processing: Process orders promptly and provide follow-up and feedback to stakeholders.
- Communication: Inform pharmacists, nursing staff, and doctors about out-of-stock items.
- Order Handling: Unpack surgical and ethical orders, with special attention to items requiring refrigeration.
- Record Keeping: Capture surgical items dispensed to patients.
- Month-End Management: Handle month-end processes and generate reports.
- Inventory Control: Participate in monthly cyclical counts and scheduled stock takes.
Educational Requirements: Netcare Pharmacy Stock Clerk 2024
- Essential: Grade 12.
- Preferred: Computer literacy and SAP working knowledge.
- Advantageous: A qualification in stock management.
