As a vital member of our Despatch Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and efficiency of our logistics and shipping processes. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining high standards of truck hygiene before loading finished products, ensuring all shipments are prepared accurately according to procedures, and applying FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) principles consistently. Understanding the importance of traceability is essential as it directly impacts loading and offloading processes.

Key Duties: Dried Fruit Plant Forklift Driver x2
- Loading and Offloading: You will be responsible for loading finished products onto trucks each day, ensuring that all freight aligns 100% with the despatch plan. When offloading, you must place products in designated areas and pick the correct items for loading.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards and regulations is paramount. You must drive safely and ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained at all times to support a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: As part of the PepsiCo team, your role is integral to the overall efficiency of our business. You will collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace, especially in the railway and strapping areas.
- Additional Tasks: You will also assist in offloading trucks, providing pallets as needed, and returning various finished products to their respective storage locations to maintain order and organization.
Qualifications: Dried Fruit Plant Forklift Driver x2
- Education: Minimum qualification of a Grade 12/Matric Certificate.
- Licensing: A valid Forklift Driver’s license is required.
- Health: Must pass a medical assessment.
- Experience: At least two years of experience as a Forklift Driver.
