Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Budgets: Achieve turnover and budget targets.
  • Store Administration: Ensure all administrative tasks align with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Stock Control: Maintain stock losses below benchmark levels.
  • Promotions & Merchandising: Implement promotions and visual merchandising principles effectively.
  • Stock Trends: Stay updated on incoming stock and manage the unpacking process.
  • Brand Standards: Ensure brand standards meet customer expectations.
  • Team Development: Participate in succession planning, coaching, and developing your team.
  • Compliance: Ensure all employees adhere to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Culture: Foster and drive the Tekkie Town culture within your store.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the opening and closing of the store.
  • Assessments: Be prepared to undergo evaluations, assessments, and interviews as required.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a major retail chain, including at least 1 year in a Senior Management role.
  • Fluent in English and another relevant official South African language (both written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal and selling skills.
  • High energy level and performance-driven.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.
  • Ability to stay flexible and maintain a positive attitude in various circumstances.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Own transport and a valid driver’s license would be advantageous.
