The South African Police Service (SAPS) is currently inviting applications from unemployed graduates for its comprehensive 12-month Graduate Recruitment Scheme, available across all provinces. This program is designed in line with the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy, aiming to provide graduates with essential work experience within the SAPS framework.

Eligibility Criteria: SAPS Internship 2024
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must hold a National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification (NCV L4).
- Should have no criminal convictions or pending criminal cases.
- Applicants must be unemployed, without previous employment in the sector of the post advertised, and should not have participated in any related internship program.
- Residence in the Gauteng Province where the post is advertised is required.
- A maximum of three applications per applicant is allowed, each requiring a separate application form.

Successful candidates will:
- Provide legal support, prepare legal documentation, and manage correspondence.
- Conduct factual investigations and assist with legal research.
- Support legal officers during consultations and in various legal tasks.
- Engage in general office administration and file management.

Selection Procedure:
- Short-listed applicants will undergo fingerprint screening and a personal interview.
- Candidates may also be subject to a thorough vetting process.
- Communication will be maintained only with candidates who progress to the next stage. If you have not heard from SAPS within three months post the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
- SAPS is not obligated to fill the post following the advertisement.
