Location:
Groenkloof National Park, Head Office, Pretoria
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in garden maintenance, landscaping, or general facility upkeep.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in general maintenance and inspection.
- Basic technical abilities to handle minor repair tasks.
- Familiarity with operating garden machinery such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hedge cutters.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Work Ethic:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Physically fit and capable of performing labor-intensive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Garden & Landscape Maintenance:

- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of lawns, flower beds, and park pathways.
- Operate garden tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Facility & General Maintenance:
- Conduct minor repair and maintenance tasks within your skill level.
- Assist with general upkeep of buildings and facilities.
- Ensure driveways, pavements, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Equipment & Vehicle Care:
- Clean and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles used in daily tasks.
- Report any damages or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Waste & Site Cleanliness:
- Assist in collecting and disposing of refuse across different park sites.
- Keep work areas organized, ensuring a neat and hazard-free environment.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other related tasks as required by the supervisor to support park operations.
Remuneration & Benefits:
