Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
- A relevant academic and professional teaching qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience teaching Grade R.
- Experience with the Independent Examinations Board (IEB).
- Current registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- A clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, control, and report on student assessments.
- Participate in meetings, forums, and workshops as required for the grade or phase.
- Foster a positive and educational environment within the classroom.
- Take responsibility for the care and use of all school equipment and classroom supplies.
- Collaborate with other teachers in the grade/phase to ensure smooth operation.
- Oversee, plan, and support teaching and learning activities in the class.
- Manage, organize, and support extracurricular activities (sports and culture) within the school.
- Promote and maintain discipline within the grade/phase.
- Assist with sports and administrative duties as needed.
- Show a strong personal commitment to education and actively contribute to the school’s values and ethos.
