Job Description

Absa Home Loans Collections is offering an exceptional internship opportunity for young, talented, and driven individuals with a passion for leveraging technology to empower customers. This one-year program is your gateway to real-world experience, providing you with hands-on exposure to all facets of customer interaction within the Bank.

As an intern, you will be expected to:

  • Exhibit strong customer service skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to follow-through.
  • Work effectively within a team, showcasing strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, grace under pressure, and courteousness.
  • Be a proactive self-starter with a practical, hands-on approach.

Our Internship Programme immerses you in the Home Loans Collections environment over a 12-month period, during which you are expected to fully engage in on-the-job training and development.

Essential Requirements

  • Must be aged between 18-30 years.
  • Submission of a detailed CV, including all relevant contacts and references.
  • Provide copies of certificates, identity card, and proof of address.
  • Must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident.
  • Hold a completed degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Must be currently unemployed.
  • Should not be registered with any other learnership or internship at the time of application.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Should be a team player with self-motivation and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.

Duration

This is a 12-month programme, and candidates must be available for the entire duration.

Completion of Internship

Throughout the programme, you will receive ongoing mentoring and training to foster your personal and professional growth.

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the internship.

  • No history of dismissal from previous employment.
