Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Operation: Expertly manage and operate assigned plant facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Supervision: Provide oversight to team members and learners, fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
- Emergency Response: Actively participate in the fire and rescue team as situations demand, ensuring readiness and swift response.
- Coordination: Manage and control technical specifications, maintaining seamless operations across the plant.
- Additional Duties: Execute any other legitimate tasks as necessary to support the operational goals of the business unit.
Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- NQF Level 1 or ABET 4 (IEB) for internal candidates
- OR Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Science
- PLUS Certification in Power Plant Auxiliary System Operations (NQF 1)
Skills and Competencies:
