A vacancy for an In-Store Visual Merchandiser (VM) has become available at our Loch Logan store. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and works closely with the Divisional Visual Merchandiser. As an In-Store VM, you will be responsible for VM implementation within your store. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 years experience shop floor retail experience within a clothing retail environment KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Communication skills Interpersonal skills Time management Basic Outlook skills The ability to: - Problem solve - Identify opportunities for enhancements A thorough understanding of Visual Merchandising specifications and the interpretation thereof (a flair for VM) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Store Image Implementation of VM required activities for a specific period Ensure consistent VM standards to enhance the customer experience Store image evaluated weekly and opportunities identified Use of all VM resources Ensure VM assets are maintained and well managed (equipment and POS) Contribution to Turnover & Expense Management Stock replenishment is monitored daily and any missed opportunities are communicated to the Store Manager for appropriate action to be taken Ensure that all VM instructions and/or requirements are actioned timeously Communication and Feedback Communicate all store guidelines via VM resources to all store Phadimas Monitor all weekly/monthly instructions and communicate with the necessary role players VM checklists filed for future reference Orders are communicated to Store Management/DSM and followed up on Customer Relationships Assists the Store Manager to resolve VM related complaints & queries Shows commitment to improving the level of VM principles & product knowledge to build better relationships with fellow Phadimas Plays an active role in ensuring that the VM standards are adhered to for new store openings Training Ensures TMTs regarding VM principles are conducted and communicated with the Store Manager Initiates on-the-job training for fellow Phadimas to train on visual standards Participates in SBU workshops and takes learnings through to own store for improved results To apply, please attach the below-listed documents: Internal application form CV (Including contactable references) Certified copy of ID Certified copies of certificates and/or qualifications Please note: Should you not be contacted or liaised with four weeks after the closure of the advert, you have regretfully been unsuccessful. Key Responsibilities:

Elevate Store Image:

  • Execute VM activities according to the seasonal plan, ensuring consistency across all displays to enhance the customer experience.
  • Conduct weekly evaluations of the store’s image, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Utilize and manage VM resources effectively, maintaining all assets, including equipment and POS materials.

Drive Sales and Manage Expenses:

  • Monitor daily stock replenishment, promptly addressing any missed opportunities by communicating with the Store Manager.
  • Ensure all VM directives are executed promptly and to the highest standard.

Effective Communication and Feedback:

  • Relay store guidelines and VM resources clearly to all store Phadimas.
  • Keep track of all VM instructions and communicate with relevant stakeholders, ensuring they are filed for future reference.
  • Liaise with Store Management/DSM regarding orders and follow up to ensure completion.

Customer Relations:

  • Assist the Store Manager in resolving any VM-related complaints or queries.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing VM standards and product knowledge, fostering stronger relationships with the team.
  • Play an instrumental role in upholding VM standards during new store openings.

Training and Development:

  • Conduct TMTs (Training, Mentorship, and Teaching) focused on VM principles and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure they are implemented.
  • Initiate on-the-job training for fellow Phadimas, sharing best practices in visual standards.
  • Participate actively in SBU workshops, applying learnings to your store for continuous improvement.
