Logistics Warehouse Assistant Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Warehouse Assistant to join our Production: Logistics Warehouse department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing stock efficiently, ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Receive, store, and issue stock with precision, ensuring correct movement and physical allocation.
- Inventory Control: Assist the Stock Controller with stock counts, container counts, and returns to suppliers.
- Requisitions: Complete requisitions for consumable items promptly.
- GMP Compliance: Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the assigned area.
- Documentation: Ensure all paperwork for stock orders is accurate and promptly sent to the capturing clerk after receiving.
- Security and Housekeeping: Maintain the security, good housekeeping, and safety of stock in the store.
- Stock Rotation: Ensure effective stock rotation and optimal stock holding levels.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4. A Tertiary Qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain is advantageous.
- Assessment: Must pass a diagnostic competency assessment.
- Experience: Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level.
- Language: Fluent in Business English.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy.
- Flexibility: Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
