Key Performance Outputs
Reporting to the Supervisor of Civil Maintenance, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Compliance and Adherence: Strictly adhere to relevant statutory and legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational standards, policies, and practices.
- Cleaning Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.
- Support and Collaboration: Assist colleagues with cleaning activities and handle ad hoc requests as needed.
- Inventory Management: Ensure a sufficient supply of cleaning materials and staff refreshments.
- Hospitality Tasks: Prepare tea and coffee upon request, providing courteous service to staff and visitors.
- Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect cleaning equipment and undertake necessary remedial actions to maintain functionality.
- Hygiene and Cleanliness: Uphold high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and general cleanliness in accordance with statutory and company regulations.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain healthy, diverse internal relationships to achieve organizational goals.
- Remedial Actions: Implement corrective measures when required to maintain service quality.
Technical Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Educational Background: Grade 12 or equivalent prior learning and experience relevant to the job requirements.
- Airport Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with airport operations is advantageous.
- Driving Skills: A Code B Driver’s License is advantageous.
