Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Education: Minimum requirement of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
In addition to the educational requirement, the following skills and experiences are essential:
a) Maintenance and DIY Experience: Proven previous experience in maintenance tasks and DIY projects is crucial. This includes a hands-on approach to solving problems and performing repairs.
b) Driving Qualifications: Possession of a valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) Code 10 is mandatory. Experience in driving tractors is also required.
c) Maintenance Equipment Proficiency: Applicants must have experience operating powered maintenance equipment, including chainsaws, blowers, and brush cutters. This demonstrates a practical understanding of handling and maintaining such tools safely and efficiently.
d) Working at Heights: Experience working at heights is necessary. This includes tasks that involve climbing, using ladders, or operating equipment at elevated levels, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
