Minimum Required Qualification:
- Level 1: Grade 9 Certificate GET Services
The Appointee Should Have:
- NQF 1 General Education Certificate (GEC) (Grade 9 or equivalent) or an equivalent ABET 4 qualification
- Medically fit for the specific business area
- A clear security screening record
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Grade 12
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in the relevant working area will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of safety, health, and environmental legislation
- Knowledge of mining standards, procedures, and logistics
- Awareness of relevant legislation
- Perform simple repetitive tasks such as sweeping, digging, and loading
- Work under supervision
- Operate simple equipment or machinery as needed
- Engage in effective teamwork
- Report safety-related issues to the Safety Representative
- Participate in required meetings
- Comply with applicable Safety Regulations, Acts, Codes of Practice, and standards
